Richland County Library

Decorative translucent canopies
Muli-colored canopy at Richland County Library, South Carolina

Richland County South Carolina has a robust library system consisting of twelve locations s. In many of these areas, the library has become the hub of the area, offering a place for children to read and helping adults with technology. When it came time for the North Main branch of Richland County Library to have an upgrade, they took suggestions from the community and developed a truly inspirational place to read, learn, socialize, and more. Who said a library is just about the books.

Multi-Colored Canopy

Crystal Structures was asked to build a 3-part multi-color canopy for the front of the new state-of-the-art facility. The colorful polycarbonate canopy panels provide an excellent preview to the multi-colored designs within the library.

The canopies are 10′ x 13′ furthest from the entrance, then 10’x26′ in the center, and 13’x 14′ over the front doors. The intermixed polycarbonate canopy colors are green, blue, and opaque white.  Learn more about our canopy systems here.

Thanks to Robert Bates Company and Pyramid Contracting, and The Boudreaux Group Architects

The canopies are under CSI Code 08 43 13
