Bradley Fair, an upscale shopping center in Wichita KS was excited about the announcement from Pottery Barn that they would put a retail location on the property. The Pottery Barn, co-founded in 1949 by Paul and Morris Secon in West Chelsea, Manhattan, is one of the most wanted retailers on the Bradley Fair wish list. Part of the Williams-Sonoma group, Pottery Barn is widely a recognized name in home fashions and a location in Wichita gives locals one less reason to make the three hour drive to Kansas City.
Key Construction in Wichita brought Crystal Structures on board to provide a beautiful pyramid shaped skylight centerpiece to add natural lighting from the rooftop and a glazed canopy out front. In fact, the skylight was featured in every photo spread local news provided up to the grand opening on October 28th. Being a local project, we had many opportunities for photos during the project and were among the first to enter the new store at the grand opening event.
Spangenberg Phillips Tice Architecture provided the architectural drawings for Pottery Barn.
The metal framed pyramid skylight is under CSI code 08 62 16, the glazed canopy is under CSI code 08 44 33
