Hampton Inn-viting

Translucent Canopies Invite Guests to the Hampton Inn
Translucent canopy entrance at hampton Inn

Hampton by Hilton was originally founded in 1984 as Hampton Inn, a budget hotel from the Holiday Corporation.

The first hotel was a two-story, exterior-entrance building with 128 guest rooms located in Memphis, Tennessee. Today Hampton by Hilton includes over 2,000 hotels in 17 countries around the world.  The vast majority of Hampton’s properties are independently owned and operated.  But Hilton owns the original Shady Grove Memphis, Tennessee Hampton hotel, and manages 64 other Hampton hotels.

One of the newest properties is at 5329 Avion Park Dr in Tampa Florida.

Crystal Structures provided several translucent canopies including the curved canopy over the grand entry.   This Hampton Inn has just opened, December 2016.  As the photos show, these translucent canopies are not only functional, they provide a beautiful enhancement to the property and fit in nicely with the tropical feel of the community. Learn more about our translucent canopy systems here.

Architect: Lindsay, Pope, Brayfield, Clifford and Assoc.
General Contractor: Kellogg & Kimsey

Translucent canopies are listed under CSI Code 10 73 16
