The West Hollow Middle School, located in Melville, NY has a reason to be proud. First, the school was rated #30 out of the top 100 New York schools by Niche.com. Then there are the many great reviews by students and parents that one can find across several websites on the internet. In fact, the beautiful atrium is one of the items that students comment about the most. And topping off the atrium are 2 “L” shaped skylights provided by Crystal Structures.
The skylights provide daylight to an area below that is filled with plants and students. Whether it’s rain or shine, everyone can get a clear view of the skies above through the unique skylight configuration. The nested, L shaped ridgelites feature both hips and valleys with gabled ends. Each unit, measuring 47′ long by 18′ across, was installed by Sunshine Designs.
